Today, we received an explanation of benefits from our Medicare Supplement provider showing four claims totaling $9,180 from a vendor we weren't familiar with. After some investigation, we discovered they sell urinary catheters, which we do not need. We also found similar charges exceeding $6,000 on a prior statement. We have reported this fraudulent billing to both Medicare and our Supplement provider.
