I paid this provider £65 for a DBS application. All application details were completed correctly and submitted as required. Payment was taken immediately.
Several months later, I discovered the application had never been processed and no certificate had been issued. I received no proactive update or explanation.
When I contacted the provider, I was told no refund would be given because the fee was for the national DBS service. However, the application was never processed, meaning the service I paid for was not delivered.
As the provider contracted to submit and administer the application, they are responsible for ensuring it is properly processed. In this case, that did not happen.
I would not recommend using this service if you require reliability or timely DBS processing.
