Good admin staff (Lorraine). Bernadette was efficient. Unfortunately the team sent to move us let this company down. Extremely rude, with Shandor telling us we had a load of " $#** " and, yes, this is a quote, and Jay and Shandor constantly, rudely, complaining about how much there was to move. We pointed out that everything to be moved had been made clear when the quote was given. The team were critical of admin/management (in our earshot). Quite frankly, if the team have issues with management I don’t need to know – save it for when you are in the van! We paid for a team to get on with the job and move our belongings. We did NOT pay for a team to pass an opinion on the quality or quantity of our possessions. Our move involved a long wait for keys. An extremely stressful day, made worse by Jay telling us the removal team are only paid until 5.30, and that if things 'didn't happen soon' we would "have to have a chat", or they would need to take our possessions and put them in storage. This was later discussed with Bernadette, who said she had "never" taken things away and put them in storage. Was this a tactic used by the team, to 'encourage' customers to pay more money? At the time of booking, we were not made aware that the removal team would finish at 5.30. We were told that there was no 'wait fee' for keys at the other end. We found out that "the chat" was for us to pay the removal team of four an extra £25.00 EACH to stay and offload our possessions. Unfortunately, due to our dreadful experience with this team I could not recommend this company and would never use them again. Lorraine and Bernadette were efficient and helpful - but it wasn't them who moved us. Absolutely AWFUL team who added to our stress and made us feel uncomfortable all day from start to finish.
