I worked with Rickey and Les. I asked straight out questions as to charges because I was paying cash and having the vehicle shipped to me. Rickey told me the EOS was 8,888.00 and I asked for delivery service from California where they were to ship from to WA state. He told me my taxes for the vehicle would be charged here in Washington along w registration, title, . I accepted that, and explained that all I wanted was the vehicle and strictly no ad ons, he agreed. But when he sent my buyer contract I saw several additional fees which I did not understand bc he had not told me anything about. The add ons were expensive a $499, a 799.00 plus a 58.00 smog fee and one other, doc fee. I sent an email asking about these ad ons but he did not respond but phoned me. I phoned back shortly and he didn't seem concerned that he had not made me aware of adding these on when we had an agreement that there was only the cost of the vehicle and the 1000$ charge for the delivery fee. I told him that we had an agreement. His excuse was that every car is sold with an anti theft device and some other fee to protect the vehicle . I told him I was not happy with the add ons which I never agreed to. I told him he should have informed me of these additional fees less the doc fee beforehand and this is not the way to be transparent. It is important and crucial to let the buyer know about what they are getting so they may have an opportunity to say hey, I'm not good with that or okay it's fine.
This is why dealer's get a bad name because they add on things you have not asked for or need . Please do not deal with these people or enter at your own risk. I was ready to seal the deal until I saw that they were being deceptive in the sale. I was dealing with these people all day and thought everything was good until the end. I am quite disappointed with this dealership and I would not recommend them to anyone. Because if you already knew and understood my feelings on add ons then you would have told me that you were required as they said they are required to had them because they are already preprogrammed. Really?? Sounds like another deception to me. He also CLAIMED that they put it out front for the customers to see it. Well he never told or showed me this requirement during the whole process and he definitely had several opportunities as we were moving through the sale. No I would not recommend this dealership at all because they are not honest in how they do business. He gave a half hearted apology but it's a bit late for that, I wasted my entire day buying a car that wouldn't be mine due to the dealer's lack of transparency and trust. No I would not recommend this dealership at all
