WARNING: Fraudulent 750€ charge and unprofessional behavior at Tirana Airport
I strongly advise against renting with YOURS at Tirana Airport. My experience was a complete nightmare.
1. Downgrade: I booked a Kia Stonic through CarJet, but I was forced to take a Ford Fiesta.
2. Extortion attempts: The staff aggressively pressured me to buy extra insurance. When I refused, the operator explicitly threatened me, saying he would "find a way to make me pay the maximum."
3. Fraudulent charge: After returning the car, they charged 750€ to my credit card, claiming I drove "off-road." This is a complete lie. I have GPS coordinates and photos proving the car was always driven and parked correctly on paved roads.
4. POS issues: They manipulated the POS terminal during the deposit process to create fake errors.
I have already reported this to my bank (Advanzia) for a chargeback and filed a formal complaint. Save your money and your peace of mind: avoid YOURS and CarJet.
