I bought a new garage with an attached lean-to. Unfortunately, the installers left metal shavings on every ledge of the metal siding and roof of the entire structure. These shavings have rusted and penetrated the metal coating, leading to numerous rust spots all over the building. For the past two weeks, I've been trying to clean up the rusted metal shavings to prevent further damage. I even found broken drill bits on the roof that have rusted through the external coating. Additionally, the seals on the garage door have a significant gap between the seal and the roll-up door, which will allow cool air to escape when I try to air-condition the building. Although the grounding rod was installed, nothing is connected to it. The company refuses to address these issues, claiming that I heavily modified the building after their workmanship errors caused corrosion to the exterior. I will not be returning for future business. The mistakes made by the crew they hired are not my responsibility. I paid full price for a quality job, and now I have to repaint the entire building due to thousands of raw metal shavings damaging the exterior coating and causing rust. The building is brand new.
