Similar experience to many other reviewers. Went through Carpenters via my car insurance for a personal injury claim. 0 action for 4 months, no replies to any messages or phone calls for updates (I had to contact my car insurance to get their phone number as it is nowhere to be found).When I called them after 4 months I was told my case had not been transferred after the case handler had left. However when I formally complained, they told me that after investigating the case, they felt they had been proactively updating me (I had not received a single update to that point). A few weeks later they closed the claim without even calling me to discuss. Their reason to close the claim does not make sense as they have not even reviewed the evidence or contacted any witnesses. When I called to try and discuss I was told the case is closed therefore there is no-one to talk to.
