Review Time
AVOID. Absolutely awful. No communication. Emails go unanswered. Phone calls not answered or returned. Unfortunately used by insurance companies. Have raised a complaint but no outcome as yet and sadly not expecting things to change. Expect if insurance companies didn’t use them they’d soon go out of business with such poor standards. Will be reporting them to the ombudsman and further if I can. Appalling.
I would never choose this company but sadly my insurance transferred my case to them. It is the one of the most disrespectful and useless company. My case handler Adaku Ofoegbu even not replying on my email for more than a month now ,not replying on calls. I strongly believe nothing going to happen with my case and gonna be the same as few reviews before me. So please save up time for yourself and if you can stay away from them. Of course they gonna shortly reply with a nice reply and continue doing nothing. Shame on you! If you cannot handle it why you starting it at all?!
I wish I could say I should have read the reviews before dealing with these company so I could at least AVOID them but my car insurance company selected this incompetent company to act on my behalf. ZERO communication and horrible customer experience whenever you call. At least someone admitted they do not have enough staff to run their company so why set up shop! It's been 5 months (and counting) without word and compared to others I could as well expect a resolution at my retirement age!

I guess nothing changes. I posted a review 2 weeks ago due to frustration as emails for updates were being ignored. Carpenters replied to my review with the usual cut and paste response. My handler and manager will review my case and get back to me. Giving carpenters the benefit of the doubt. 2 weeks on and nothing. So it appears that their response to my review is to look good on trustpilot. I guess in all walks of life you get those that are proactive and those that are not. Unfortuantly for me i was given the latter. SOU1157/08843
If I could give no stars I would. My partners accident was 31st October 2022, a delivery van crashed into the back of him at a junction & Ocado admitted liability. The documents he has had to complete is ridiculous, time was just about up when his case handler panicked and asked him to complete paperwork ASAP to extend the time limitations so they could continue with the claim. No reply from numerous calls or emails, lost count of how may claims handlers he has had now, how many Doctors I have seen with him, how many appointments I have attended with him. And he is still waiting for conclusion. He has tried again today rang and rang no answer. Truly this is beyond a joke, someone should be calling him back and to not even reply to an email is such an appalling service. When liability has been admitted shouldn't the process be quicker, its now 3 years 4 months which is unbelievable..... this case should be reviewed ASAP by a manager and better customer service training needs to be given to staff, especially those who do not answer their clients!!! Will anything happen now we wonder, we doubt it but fingers crossed!!
I was involved in an incident in 2021, I am STILL waiting for my claim. I have had no correspondence. I’ve emailed multiple times and I have to wait months between emails. I even called the office today for an update and the lady I spoke to said my claim handler was busy, she couldn’t tell me anything because she knew nothing of my normal claim handlers work load and didn’t work on cases like mine. It was a complete waste of time. I’ve gone out of my way to go to multiple doctors appointments and assessment in order to try and get this sorted but they are taking forever. This is beyond a joke. Considering the amount of commission they want to take from my claim, if it ever actually goes through.I have sent numerous emails to the address given, i received no acknowledgment. The communication from this company is disgusting. And the amount that you want to take from my claim is appalling considering the service provided.
Having been involved in a serious road accident and being covered with legal protection Carpenters were instructed to act on my behalf. At first I appeared to be bandied between handlers and getting no where fast then my case was taken up by Chloe Bentham. The case moved on fairly quickly and has now been finalized to my satisfaction. Thanks Chloe
Jane Lowe was exceptional in her understanding of me and my capacity to proceed as well as being professional and having a good grasp of my case. When asked for advice she gave the options, and then her advice. She won the case without having to go to Court, showing her great experience, and did all this in a very supportive way.
