Glass half-empty... I rented a car in Athens Airport for 9 days. Nothing to say about the vehicle itself, a Fiat Panda, which was in good conditions and functioning perfectly. But...Their offices are a bit outside the airport area, in a near village so they provide a shuttle service to pick you up from a meeting point. Problem is it is not clear at all where the meeting point is. I had to call their customer support to find it out and they gave me instructions to reach a parking lot 5 minutes walk away from the arrivals exit. We waited there for 20 minutes but no shuttle bus from the company showed. So I called them again and another guy told me that they were not allowed anymore in that specific parking lot and that we needed to walk to another parking lot a bit farer. Ok... So we did and in the end we found the shuttle bus there but meanwhile we had already lost 30 minutes of our time.Once at the office we started the procedure and everything went smooth until I asked for an invoice. Please note I had previously asked by email, a month in advance, and they had confirmed they could issue the document and there were no problems at all. I still have the email to prove that. But for unknown reasons (because the rather rude and uncaring ladies at the desk provided me with none) once there they told me they couldn't issue the invoice. The lady also added "If that's such a problem, you can cancel your booking (and of course pay the full fee) and book another car elsewhere". So I called their official customer support number where a guy told me he would look into that and call me back in 2 minutes. After 25 minutes waiting there at the office with no call back and no further assistance from the desk I decided to give up on the invoice thing and rent the car anyway otherwise me and my girlfriend would have lost our vacation trip.This cost me 300€ out from my personal pocket instead of my company's and a total delay of more than 1 hour on our schedule.Rent a car with them at your own risk and be aware you might have very unpleasant surprises.They don't do what they promise. They are totally unreliable.
