I placed an order for a bike rack with Carracks.co.uk priority 1-2 day delivery. I realised I’d ordered the wrong one so immediately tried to contact them (within 3 min) to cancel. The phone number is fake, they did not reply to my emails until PayPal got involved - on the day of their deadline, along with a text to say it was out for delivery! The email from MicksGarage said I could return it upon delivery for a refund. What a waste of time! Had they just followed my instruction to cancel the order in the first place which they had plenty of time to do (but they don’t check their emails regularly) it would have saved a lot of hassle on both sides. Thankfully no one was home to accept the order when it arrived 2 weeks later, no card was left so I had to call Parcelforce to make sure it was returned to sender. I then got a refund. Had I not used PayPal I suspect it would be a different story.It’s no way to operate a business. I’d recommend anyone to avoid and use The Roof Box company who have been amazing, I ordered my roof bars and box from them and the items have arrived hassle free, on time and have replied to any queries promptly.
