Had a new stainless steel Carron Phoenix sink installed in our utility room about 12 months ago. It has a number of rust marks on it and whilst Cif dulls them it doesn’t remove them. This is the recommendation of the company’s customer services when reported with images.Have now found that where the hand soap bottle has stood there are corrosion marks which again dull with Cif but the damage and marks remain. This expensive sink is not as good a quality as the cheap sink we had before and was much harder wearing, no rust after 30 years.I cannot recommend this product and the companies response astounds me. They agree that as installed in the utility room with little use, the product is still deemed as new!Very poor and wouldn’t buy one of their products again.

Carron Phoenix is best known for its sink manufacturing these days but we can trace our roots back to 1759 when The Carron Company was founded as an iron foundry in Falkirk.
