I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with Carrot Insurance has been very disappointing.
Over the course of 12 months the driving record on this policy was impeccable, yet the overall experience felt like the business was actively looking for reasons to cancel rather than support the policyholder. Communication was frustrating and the process felt unnecessarily difficult at multiple points.
The biggest concern came at renewal. The premium for a 19-year-old dropped significantly (from around £2,600 to £700), which appeared positive initially. However, shortly afterwards the policy was cancelled at the first available opportunity. From a customer perspective, this gives the strong impression that competitive pricing is offered but not genuinely supported.
