Bought a $100 GIANT FOOD STORES Gift card yesterday, money was withdrawn through PayPal from the debit account. Received an email with the confirmation and order #... 45 minutes later another email was received with "We're sorry. We were unable to process your eGift Card order from Giant Food Stores. Settled charges will be refunded to the original form of payment."The money hasn't been refunded. Called both numbers for customer service yesterday, a total waste of time, literally no helpful at all. Both people only have a script that they follow saying "we can only see an error that it didn't go through". Don't even know what the error is or what happened. They're telemarketing companies who provide a service to CashStar. Have no access to CashStar system or contact with GIANT FOOD STORES, and they claimed that it was a hold, when their email and the transaction through PayPal shows that the money was charged, otherwise if it were only a hold, why would they mentioned that the charges will be refunded?Refund the money today, within the next minutes. Order #CND6MHCJ9DUPDATE 10/14/2024:7 days have past and NO REFUND has been done, nor any contact has happened whatsoever from GIANT / CASHSTAR or anyone responsible for customer service.This is a big DISAPPOINTMENT and a SHAMEFUL way to conduct your business!!!Money must be refunded TODAY, no excuses.
