I purchased a Home Goods gift card through Cash Star as I thought it was "safer" than sending a plastic card through the mail. WRONG! After having it emailed to my friend as a gift - she was unable to use it at Home Goods. I spent 2 weeks back & forth with Home Goods & Cash star - only to find out TODAY that the card was used in St. Charleston, IL 5 days after I bought it. My friend had not even gone to the Home Goods yet to use it. I live in Nevada, my friend is in AZ. Someone from Cashstar obviously sent the email to their friend in IL! I'm out $100 and both Home Goods and CashStar are saying....no refunds if lost or stolen. I should have mailed a physical card! GEEZE! CASHSTAR....you need to monitor your employees!
