We are a non profit making tennis club who had a water supply installed in May 2024. There is no mains drainage down our lane and yet Castle Water have tried to invoice us for something we don't have (we have a cesspit). We didn't receive an invoice for 18 months and were only made aware of the problem in November 2025. They have agreed to credit the account from November, but are insistent that we pay for the period prior to November even though we never use mains drainage. It is totally incompetent of both Thames Water and Castle Water. You cannot charge for something which should have been picked up, prior to the invoices. This is not the Tennis Club's fault. We have wasted hours on this, (a very straightforward case) and expect to be credited in full and receive compensation.
