This is an excellent charity shop. The volunteers are all pleasant and helpful, and the managers will always hold a large piece you’ve paid for until you have done all your other shopping so you don’t have to carry it round.
Prices are good, with plenty of bargains to be had. The main purpose of the shops is of course to support their excellent work, and they clearly succeed as they’re usually busy.

I would have rated this organization five stars if not for the closure of a local branch, which forced long-time volunteers to leave. When I complained, I received a generic response about procedures, indicating that the welfare of cats in the area is not a priority. I advise anyone donating to reconsider, as the charity is no longer present in the community.
Kudos to the team for making our adoption of Mistletoe last week so simple and straightforward. The care we received from beginning to end made us feel almost as appreciated and well-treated as the animals in their care. All the questions we were asked seemed fair and sensible, considering the important responsibility the organization has to ensure their animals are placed in safe homes. It struck a great balance, fostering trust with potential new owners while maintaining necessary safeguards. We’ve been home with lovely Mistletoe (now Phoenix) long enough to see her happiness, and she’s already bringing us so much joy. Thank you!

I’m curious if anyone else has experienced delays with their orders from this charity. I ordered a hoodie and received a receipt, but very little information about shipping. With so many scams around, I checked the company online and found no details about officers or trustees, which left me feeling uneasy and seeking reassurance.
I was contacted by a local branch about my two missing cats, which they had for weeks without notifying me. They even re-homed some of the kittens without my consent, claiming the mother cat wasn't pregnant when she went missing. I am furious and will not rest until I seek legal advice. This charity's behavior is unacceptable.
