I was an HSBC customer and everything was perfect, once CCF bank took over, i had the worse service and experience you can imagine. I stayed more than a year without a debit card, escalated multiple times, finally received it after almost a year of back and forth. However no code, so couldn't use the card and till date i haven't received it. I live in Lebanon and due to the current situation was really in need to use my money and couldn't so was forced to transfer it. After that I informed the bank by email and by contacting the customer service multiple times to close my account. But it never happened and the bank was still charging for services that it was not offering. I am still calling and escalating to close the account but nothing so far. My recommendation is to never use this bank specially if you do not reside in France.
