We finally exited CCF bank at the end of 2025 and it has taken me until now to feel calm enough to write about it. Others have written about the terrible service. I will tell you about their terrible online security which is the weakest and slowest. Fraud happened to us. The bank staff were absolutely no help so we turned to the "mediateur" for help - totally toothless - CCF simply ignored them so we ended up with zero help. Stay away from this bank. Do not even deserve 1 star.

Terrible experience - avoid like the plague

Terrible experience. Was a client of HSBC FR so with the sale, automatically became a client of CCF FR. Had previously never had an problem in 10+ years but since the transfer it has been issue after issue. A valid bank transfer that went 'missing' in 2025 has still yet to be 'located'. Despite speaking to 3 different conseillers, no one can seem to help me, and my bank manager has simply stopped responding to my emails. Terrible banking service. Terrible customer service. Once I have my money back I'm fleeing.

I have an account at Paris Elysees International Branch.Advisor Mr. A.SC. is very professional, extremely friendly and patient.Communication with him is excellent, he is highly responsive and always replies promptly and efficiently.I strongly recommend CCF bank

Just look at the number of 1* reviews. Terrible customer service!

We banked with HSBC, then when they changed to CCF for over 25 years. HSBC were OK. After it changed to CCF, the experience became much worse, with slow responses to requests that had to be made several times to get action.Our circumstances changed, and we decided to close the accounts. We informed them in October, that we would like all accounts to close effective 1st January. We got an acknowledgement that our request was noted.January 7th - no action, so messaged them again. Got a reply that the action was in progress. January 15th. Still no action. Informed them that we were now owed interest on the accounts yet to be closed, and that we should not be charged a monthly fee for an account we had requested be closed.January 23rd - still no action. Messaged AGAINReceived a phone call to ask why we were closing the account (all in the original message) and told that no message was received in October - which is interesting, as they had replied to it !January 27th - Savings accounts closed, but no message and no closing statement.Messaged to request closing statement. Got a reply telling us to download it from the App. Replied that this was not possible, because the account no longer appeared on our login - No answer.Jan 28th. Accounts finally closed after waiting 48 hrs for the funds to be transfered (which we had to do ourselves) .No emai. No message. No confirmation that the accounts were closed - NOTHING. After 25 years of customer loyalty.Well done CCF. Well done !!Do yourselves a favour and do not even consider applying for a CCF account

Very difficult to connect to your account

Very easy to get your account blocked and nearly impossible get a solution.> Retrieve code by SMS : non active even though the mobile number is registered in the account> Retrieve by regular mail : not possible even though is address is registered in the account> Last solution to call someone : good luck if you're abroadI was already unhappy with HSBC for their outdated approach, now with CCF it's even worse!!

Dreadful bank

We were customers with HSBC UK and so became customers with HSBC France. We never had any problems and very good advisers. Until the switch to CCF which has been absolutely dreadful in all respects, especially the "adviser" and the app. We have transferred a PEA to another bank and reduced our savings to a minimum. We would have closed our accounts but unfortunately cannot due to an HSBC life insurance policy. For some unfathomable reason HSBC Assurance Vie have sold out but CCF still retain the customers.

Avoid this Bank at all costs!

Avoid this bank at all costs!I was assigned a relationship manager for my bank account which then transferred to CCF from HSBC. HSBC were very professional and helpful, however since it transferred to CCF the new advisor I was assigned (Pierrick Bourgeais) has been completely unprofessional and incompetent. I explained to him that my address and telephone number changed and after some time I lost access to my account so I sent him various emails to get back on to my account and banking app which he ignored. I later received an email from CCF saying my account had been closed. This was closed without notifying me or contacting me. Once I told them I would be complaining about this the ‘relationship advisor’ contacted me and stated he had contacted me and tried to call me. This is not true. This is the worst banking experience I have had. I have thousands of pounds in this bank account which has been closed down without any discussion with me and without transferring the funds back to me. I lost access to this account around July and this issue is still not resolved. I contacted CCF about this and explained I need another relationship manager that I can trust to look after my account and they have not resolved this, they have ignored this issue completely. This company are completely incompetent. I highly recommend that you use a different banking company.
