I have had ongoing issues with Cell C, and my latest experience has confirmed exactly why I will not be renewing my contract.
Since 16 March 2026, I have sent multiple emails requesting confirmation of my contract cancellation ahead of its expiry on 17 April 2026. To date, I have received no acknowledgement or response whatsoever.
What is particularly unacceptable is that I escalated this matter directly to:
1. Thato Molopyane (Escalations Support Desk Supervisor)
2. Khule Shongwe
Even at this level, there has been complete silence.
This is not an isolated incident — it reflects a consistent pattern of poor service, lack of accountability, and disregard for customers. It is precisely because of this level of service that I have chosen not to renew my contract.
I have:
1. Submitted proper notice of non-renewal
2. Followed up multiple times
3. Attempted escalation through the appropriate channels
Yet still, no response.
At this point, I am left questioning whether cancellation requests are being deliberately ignored.
I am requesting urgent written confirmation that my contract cancellation has been processed and will take effect on the agreed expiry date, with no further billing thereafter.
Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to think carefully before choosing Cell C as a service provider.
