In order to avoid a £2000 deposit on my credit card I was forced to pay for premium insurance which was more than twice the cost of the initial booking. I then had to return the car a week early and was offered no compensation not even on the premium insurance which was booked direct via Centauro. The car was quite old with 80k miles on the clock and a damp smell. Overall not a great experience. You also have to travel for 20 minutes by bus from the airport. The staff were friendly but this was an extremely expensive rental and I’m super disappointed ☹️
