Absolute garbage. I ship to Amazon regularly and have for years so I’ve worked with tons of different carriers. Central Transport is stands above all as the worse carrier I’ve ever worked with, by far. They have a middle man that works between us and the actual dispatch causing miscommunications. Today, we were told the pickup would be between 2 and 4. We politely requested, if possible, we’d love to be earlier in the route. At 4:00, we called to make sure we were still on their schedule as they’ve stood us up in the past with no call. We were told they’d be arriving at 4:45. At 4:55, we called to check on the pickup. We were told they were on their way to our location as we speak. ETA 20 minutes. 35 minutes later (It’s now 5:30pm on a Friday) we call to find out where they are and are told they’ve had their driver return to the terminal. They didn’t think to give us the courtesy to let us know. Despite being lied to (told they were en route to our location when they clearly weren’t) and having called several times throughout the day, they just canceled on us with no notice. We could have sat around for another hour had we not known to check on them. Just falsehoods, lies and lack of common decency in communication. This is the 2nd time we’ve dealt with a similar situation with this company. The only reason we work with them is because it’s Amazon’s default carrier. We will be contacting Amazon a second time with a letter begging them to stop working with Central Transport.
