I have identified multiple recurring charges of £39.99 on my credit card statement since late October 2024, following what I understood to be a 4-week subscription. I am still calculating the exact number of charges because my bank does not allow me to search transactions, so I have to scroll month by month.
The website does not provide clear visibility of transaction history, and locating the cancellation portal was not straightforward.
I am awaiting confirmation that the full refund for charges taken beyond the initial 4-week period has been processed.
I signed up for a 4-week subscription advertised at $39.99 in total (initially less than USD). My confirmation email refers to a “4 weeks billing cycle” and a total cost for 4 weeks.
It does not clearly state that the subscription will automatically renew and continue charging monthly.
Despite this, my card was charged repeatedly beyond the initial period.
When I contacted support requesting a refund for the post-4-week charges, this was declined.
If this is intended to be an ongoing recurring subscription, that should be explicitly and prominently disclosed at purchase and in confirmation communications.
