Our experience during the home purchase was very disappointing and far more stressful than necessary. The most troubling issue was having to identify a significant problem with the buildings insurance ourselves—specifically, that subsidence wasn’t covered. This was not mentioned in their report and only became a point of discussion after we raised it. Throughout the process, we encountered ongoing communication issues: unclear advice, delays, and responses that felt unhelpful. We had to chase for essential documents and clarity on key points that should have been proactively communicated. Some emails we received were unnecessarily curt, adding to our anxiety. The handling of our complaint was also poor, taking nearly 10 weeks for a final response that didn’t fully reflect what happened. Overall, this experience caused a lot of unnecessary worry when we needed reassurance and competence. Based on our experience, we would not recommend this service for conveyancing.
