If I could leave negative stars I would. Absolutely unimpressed and let down with this entire company and the way they operate. My family feels as if we were sold a false bill of goods from the very start. The guy that gave us our quote and sold us the windows left off important details for the work order, an unused electrical switch needed to be removed and there was no mention of it anywhere in the paperwork. He also didn't communicate to us that we had to take care of that for the new windows to be installed (however, he told us verbatim, "No problem, we'll take care of it.") at the mention of it. Once it was time for our windows to be installed it took nearly a month from start to finish to complete the job after we were told it'd take 2-3 days tops. (We do understand some of the hold up was on us with the electrical switch, but it was still irritating either way.) I had multiple contractors in my house off and on, none of them the same, none of them knew what the others were doing... some of them even down right rude! I had 2 new windows built and placed in our master bedroom, I asked the guys if they had a tarp to cover my bed with since I couldn't move that out of the room and while they did lay something down on the bed it was filthy and they may as well have not had anything on it at all. The biggest upset was when they didn't even cut the holes where they were supposed to for said new windows! There were clear markings on the walls for them and they never gave no reason as to why they decided to move them for me... but one of them is a whole 4" further to the left than it should be. (They actually never even told me they were leaving for the day!)After said job was 'finished' the guys that were here "cleaned" after themselves... leaving me with actual heaps of insulation under my bed and other large bits of plastic.. but, "champion leaves a place cleaner than they found it." (Yeah. Right.)On top of all of this, they didn't actually finish the job. We had to call the company to complain and get someone to come back out here and re-mud around the windows and install stools. The cherry on top of this whole situation was probably the fact that after speaking with Champion about the electrical switch the person we spoke with said that they would half the cost of the removal of the switch as an apology for the misunderstanding. It wound up costing a bit more than anticipated for various reasons, and when it came time for Champion to pay for their half they declined and said they no longer could hold up their end of that small nicety we were hoping for.I can not stress enough to shop for your windows elsewhere! Don't be swindled out of thousands of dollars by this poorly operated company like my family was! I will NEVER use Champion again, nor will anyone that I know.
