the salesman who wrote up my order (for my whole house) told me to contact him if I had any issues in the process as he said "our customer service isn't easy to reach, I'm faster" . He was right about that except he was no more reliable than their poor customer service dept. It took many many calls to him to help me close a sash that was stuck. Luckily it was still summer and I didn't worry about cold getting in. When my air conditioner service man was over, I jokingly asked him if he could help me with it- he fixed it! (Champion sales guy either promised me several times he'd stop by after his appointments that day, but always stood me up.) I had my kitchen window installed and when I saw a black spot, the foreman said it was a gouge, and customer service would re order it. Then while cleaning the windows w/in a day or two of being installed, I noticed my big window in my living room had 3 scratches. I immediately called customer service, and could only leave a message with my problem. No one ever calls you back. I lost count of how many times I called customer service, and how many hours I wasted waiting on hold to talk to someone. When I finally did get to speak to someone, they assured me they knew about my kitchen window. I had to report the scratches on the living room window several times, and when the kitchen window finally came in, the installer was ready to collect my final payment. I said Champion will get the payment when the living room window is in and perfect. He showed no record of it ever being ordered, even tho I was assured on the phone it was in the works. All in all , absolutely MISERABLE customer service and sloppy installers that damaged some walls when the windows were installed. And damaged windows should never be sent to your house to be installed! Poor quality control!!! Whole aggravating experience took 7 months to complete!
