During last winter we had issues with the insides of the windows at the rear of our home freezing from the condensation so we decided to replace the windows. We did our due diligence and completed 3 estimates with reputable companies and decided on Champion Windows on February 11, 2023. We were supposed to have our windows installed in May and all would be fine.On February 28, 2023 they sent out someone to professionally measure the windows. We were informed that we would have to enlarge our sliding glass door area to accommodate the incoming window with the built in right facing doggie door. We made arrangements to have our contractor come and enlarge the area but chose to wait till closer to the install date.On March 28, 2023 we received an email from David Conger at Champion windows with an updates ETA of April 5, 2023! So we reached out to our contractor and he rushed the enlargement. Mind you this was the worst winter we have see in many years. Thinking that the install was coming soon we filled the space between the old window and the new with plastic grocery bags. Everything was freezing for the last two months of winter! The frost on the doggie door would freeze shut and the door would not operate due to the cold.Our windows were installed July 15,2023 with the sliding door containing a left facing doggie door. The installation went very well but this is not the door we ordered! We were assured all would be rectified within a couple weeks by both the installer and Tori Hoogestraat the field representative.Tori and I corresponded many times and she would tell me she was reaching out to upper management. On October 23, 2023 she referred me to Paul Iverson her Sales manager. When we called him he referred us to Tommy the installation manager who said he would text us an update once he parked his car. This took quite some time but eventually we got a call back. We scheduled the repair that would make the left facing door into a right on November 7, 2023. Sadly this did not go as planned. The screen door needed replacing and when you pushed the door closed it made a terrible sound. Once again the parts were ordered and installed today November 15,2023. We have fully paid for the windows and sliding door with a left facing doggie door. A total of $17,955.00 was paid for a job that was finally completed November 15, 2023. We love the product but the process has been terrible.
