We had Champion install a sunroom over 15 yrs ago. The warranty has run out which we fully understood. One of our skylights began to leak so we called and scheduled an appointment for a tech to come out.I was informed that there would be a trip charge of $175 for the tech to come out which was fine.The tech arrived and was very professional and recaulked around the skylight and said that should do it. It should not leak anymore. Total cost to us $208.00. Great its repaired.Well think again.After the next rain the skylight continued to leak in the same places as before.So, I called again for them to come out and try to repair it again. They have the audacity to say we are going to have to charge you another $175 trip charge to come out and repair something which you already said was repaired. Thats some scam. Imagine if they had to come out multiple times to fix the same issue what that would cost.I understand the warranty has expired but they don't even stand behind repair work they perform.If it was a different issue I would have no issue paying a seperate trip charge of $175. Even after a call to Champions corporate office they would not waive the trip charge for the same repair issue.Thats a terrible way to do business. If i were you and you were thinking of using this company I would consider another company.
