We bought Charnwood ARC 5 multi fuel woodburner and overall would give it 8/10 after a few months use. It is general a very solid, heavy piece of kit, which is great it really holds the heat in. The door open and shut mechanism is well engineered and you can open and close without gloves. Same with the air controller, this has three distinct and positive click positions but you can adjust within these. Once going it burns beautifully and is pretty controllable,The not so good points…. The burning box area is too small so it’s really difficult to load up more than a few logs particularly if you have not cleaned out the ash for a few days! Also the top firebrick slopes down to the back further reducing the available space. So don’t buy long logs! The bottom 10cm of the glass window blackens even when on full blast as the down wash doesn’t reach there, so it needs cleaning every day as it doesn’t burn off. The two back fire bricks are held in place by a ridiculously small nut and washer, mine has already burned away! Needs reengineering to match the rest of this stove. But overall I am impressed with this, our third stove, it looks good (costs around £2K so not cheap) it just needs a few tweaks….
