After seeing Uk TV ad for Chase Bank I opened an account at the beginning of Oct 2022 (no joint account available) for myself and wife.Within a couple of days their system went down, it happens, so not great start. Within days of using my debit card I received a call from Chase to say someone was trying to take a payment in Scotland, I live in the Midlands, obviously fraudulent. Couple of days later message popped up on app for me to authorise another fraudulent payment. While I was on the phone to Chase yet another fraudulent payment was requested on app. Obviously my account had been hacked even though I had not given my card or bank details to anyone! Ok Chase did contact me via app. and phone but I've now closed account.
