I signed up thinking this was going to be around $3.75 a month, and it turns out I’ve been charged over $60 a month, sometimes $63, sometimes $68, sometimes $69, for a very long time. I’ve never used the service, not even once.There’s no easy way to cancel. You can’t just go into your account and end your subscription. You have to contact support directly, which is ridiculous in 2025. I only discovered all this after peeling through months of credit card statements and realizing I’d been throwing money at a service I didn’t even know was active.Now I’m having to talk to my credit card company and file a fraud claim, which means canceling my card right before I travel. Total nightmare.Absolutely do not sign up for Chatly. Zero transparency, no self-service cancellation, and wildly overpriced for what’s supposed to be free.
