I asked about her level and was told she was an 'intermediate' stylist, and that she was highly requested. I hesitantly agreed, trusting this information.
I explained I wanted a dual-style color, and we settled on highlights and lowlights, with an agreement for more highlights. Unfortunately, when I got home, I found my hair was significantly darker, with far more lowlights than highlights – essentially the opposite of what we discussed. My husband even asked if I'd "only gotten a curl."
I later looked up Sarah online and discovered she is actually an apprentice, not an intermediate stylist as I was told. I understand everyone needs to learn, but being misled about a stylist's experience level is unacceptable, especially for a coloring service. This lack of transparency and the poor result has left me really unhappy with my hair and my visit. I wish I had known the truth before I sat down in the chair."
