Where do I begin? I purchased flight tickets on 6/23 at 1:00pm (confirmation booking # received) and on 6/24 @ 2:15pm I received a cancellation notice. When I called to discuss why, I was told the tickets were no longer available by a gentleman named Lenny. I however did use AFFIRM to purchase my tickets which cost me $690... I was approved for much more ($1800) and have never been declined with affirm on any of my purchases... Cheap flights customer service proceeded to explain that it was my card that was declined... IMPOSSIBLE. I was then told, it was because the flight was booked and no longer available... and there were only two seats left. So which is it? Was my card declined, is the flight booked, or are there only two seats left? I then checked their website where it clearly says under their liability section: "Cheapflights.com takes all reasonable care to ensure that information on the site is up to date and accurate." To which they are in fact not accurate because if that was the case we wouldnt be able to book a flight and then be told it was no longer available 13 hours LATER...(customer service says it also takes 4 hours for them to cancel if payment doesnt go through so why was I told 13 hours later?) It also doesnt make sense that an approved financial lender like AFFIRM would be declined... Cheap Flights raised the price to $996 and told me there was nothing they could do, despite false advertising and not taking accountability, the only offer was : "if you pay with debit or credit right now I can give it to you for 434 each ($868) and I can ask to have have you seated together... (but wait i thought there was only two seats so how are you able to make that request) Cheap flights purposely cancels flights so you wind up paying more money they have zero integrity and zero moral! I will be doing business elsewhere as cheap flights insisted i do!
