I reserved a car rental through a platform, but they provided incorrect opening hours for the location. To this day, I haven't received a refund for my payment, primarily due to two issues. First, contacting the platform and submitting the required documents has been challenging. I found a few email addresses, but they were no-reply, and when I managed to speak with someone on the phone, they redirected me to their AI assistant, which was unhelpful and didn't facilitate proper communication. Second, the company has been very strict about the details. My appointment time and the station's opening hours were indicated in the app's 'Pick up' section. Although I was late for my appointment, I arrived within the 'pick up' window, only to discover that the location had closed two hours earlier. I documented everything and shared it with the platform, but I haven't received any reimbursement for the entire 4-day rental period for a vehicle I never even accessed.
