I arranged a car rental through a platform, but they gave me incorrect opening times for the station. To this day, I have not received a refund for my payment, and there are two main issues. First, it has been difficult to reach the support team and submit the required documents. I found a few email addresses, but they were no-reply, and after managing to speak with someone, I was directed to their AI agent, which didn't facilitate a proper conversation or simply failed to work. Secondly, the company has been very particular about the details. In the app's "Pick up" section, both my appointment time and the station's opening hours were shown. I was late for my appointment, but I arrived within the "pick up" window, only to discover that the station had closed two hours earlier. I documented everything and shared it with the platform, yet I haven't received any reimbursement for the entire four-day rental period for a vehicle I never even encountered.
Steer clear of booking rental cars through this platform — save yourself the time, money, and stress. I booked and paid for an automatic car, received a confirmation, and thought everything was settled. Since I can't drive a manual, this detail was essential. When I arrived at the rental desk, I was informed: 'We don’t have any automatic cars.' They offered me a manual instead. I explained that I can't drive one, and the response was essentially: 'Well, there’s nothing we can do.' No apology, no solution, no help. When I inquired how it's possible to reserve something that doesn't exist, I was told: 'The platform never knows what we have. There’s no real communication between us.' So, the platform takes bookings and payments for cars that may not even be available. I had to take a taxi home for €60, and the real trouble began afterwards: Two weeks later, I’m still waiting for my refund while being asked to provide proof that I didn’t receive a car — something no one would think to request at a rental counter. In summary: I booked, paid, got nothing, incurred extra expenses, and now I have to pursue my own refund. Avoid this platform — and be cautious with the rental agency.
