I intended to make a booking but ultimately chose not to, and here’s why. The platform offers a user-friendly interface that is clean and efficient, making it easier to navigate than individual ski school websites. Unfortunately, the positives stop there. The site prominently advertises 'free cancellation up to 24 hours before the activity,' which many customers would interpret as easy cancellation with a full refund. However, that’s not the case. Upon reviewing the terms: the platform is not the seller — the agreement is with the ski school. Refunds are at the provider's discretion, not the platform's. The service fee (€14 in my case on a €351 booking) is generally non-refundable, even with cancellation. Therefore, the cancellation is neither genuinely 'free' nor fully managed by the platform. This raises a straightforward question: why pay more? If I can book directly with the ski school for a lower price, avoid an extra service fee, and handle cancellation terms directly, what benefit does the platform offer? A nice user experience does not justify paying extra for less transparency and reduced protection. The 'free cancellation' messaging is, at best, misleading and should be explained much more clearly during the booking process.
