Review Time
Booked kids ski lessons in Pamporovo Bulgaria, 3 weeks in advance and payed everything in full.
Arrived at given time in location for a vacation made especially for kids learning how to ski, only to find out that the ski school was not aware of our coming and couldn't train my kids.
Being full season no other ski school was available.
Request for explanations from yeti and received the info that the payed money will be refunded in up to 10 days and they are sorry. No solution to remedy the situation and save a what is turning to be useless vacation.
So checkyeti just used my money for a month and will maybe give them back.
I was ready to make a booking but ultimately walked away. The platform has a user-friendly interface that is efficient and easier to navigate than individual ski school websites. Unfortunately, the positives stop there. The site promotes 'free cancellation up to 24 hours before the activity,' which most customers would take as an easy cancellation with a full refund. However, that’s not the case. Upon reviewing the terms: the platform is not the seller — the agreement is with the ski school. Refunds are at the provider's discretion, not the platform's. The service fee (€14 in my case on a €351 booking) is generally non-refundable, even with cancellation. Thus, the cancellation is neither genuinely 'free' nor fully managed by the platform. This leads to a simple question: why pay more? If I can book directly with the ski school for a lower price, avoid an additional service fee, and manage cancellation terms directly, what value does the platform provide? A nice user experience doesn't justify paying extra for less transparency and reduced protection. The 'free cancellation' claim is, at best, misleading and should be clarified much better throughout the booking process.

Our children had an incredible time with ski lessons. The booking process was seamless, the organization was top-notch, and the instructor was exceptional. They progressed from using the magic carpet on Monday to tackling black runs by Friday. It couldn't have been better.
