Utterly disappointed with the service. One of the most incompetent Letting Agencies I have seen.
It started prior to the move-in when the sales agent misinformed that there will be a person to showcase the apartment amenities in details so that there is no confusion post move-in. Nobody showed up on the day - which was fine since I could figure out things on my own.
In less than 2 weeks since I moved in to the property, the bedroom heater stopped working. I shifted to the living room couch for the nights in this chilly weather - since the living room heater was still working.
Week 1- I was told to go through the heater manuals - A complete waste of time.
Week 2- I was told a technician would visit to check. He did come and confirmed that the device needs to be replaced.
Week 3- According to Chestertons, they need to submit two quotes to the landlord so they sent another vendor for a second quote - that was done as well.
Week 4 and 5 - Complete radio silence on the topic. No proper replies to emails and follow-ups with occasional hollow assurances as replies.
It has already been over a month that I am sleeping on my living room couch - since only the living room heater is working as of now!! And this is post I am paying full rent for the apartment (and able to utilize only half the apartment space).
ZERO accountability and complete Incompetence by Chestertons Canary Wharf.
