Fraudulent listing and Zero Buyer Protection - Avoid HOUBIDOU seller.
I purchased an Oris watch listed as "NEW / UNWORN". Upon arrival, the watch had clear physical damage (dents and deep scratches on the lugs) which were hidden by the seller (HOUBIDOU) using stock/basic photos from the internet.
I provided clear macro-photo evidence of the damage to Chrono24 Support. However, the mediation team (Violet) completely ignored the physical proof and the fact that the item was misrepresented. They labeled this as "buyer's remorse" just to avoid providing a pre-paid return label.
Chrono24 is lobbying for big professional dealers while ignoring the rights of buyers. This is a violation of EU consumer laws. I am escalating this case to the ECC (European Consumer Centre) and will not accept being bullied into paying for a seller's fraud.
