My recent visit to the cinema was far less enjoyable than I had anticipated. I went with my son for a casual movie night, but several issues detracted from the experience. First, ordering drinks at the concession stand was a challenge, as the staff seemed unsure of their tasks. Three employees huddled around the machine, checking recipe cards and asking each other what to do next. The drink I received for $7 was nothing like a proper caramel macchiato—more like hot milk with a shot of espresso added at the end. Inside the auditorium, the sound level was another concern. The trailers were so loud that some patrons around us appeared uncomfortable. It's unclear who monitors volume levels, but this was excessive and made it hard to enjoy the film. Additionally, when I needed assistance reprinting my ticket due to a frozen app, I was shuffled between several employees. While no one was rude, it felt like no one knew who was responsible for helping me. The venue was clean, and once the movie started, things improved, but the company needs to enhance staff training and organization. For the prices we pay now, the experience shouldn't feel so chaotic. This is why I'm giving it 3 stars—not terrible, but definitely disappointing.
