I am a visitor to Dundee and was unfortunately recommended downloading the Dundee City Taxis app to get around. Ordered a cab for the first time on the app. After 25 minutes the map was still showing 5 cabs sitting in the city centre not moving. I gave up and cancelled the trip and had to pay £3 for the privilege of being fobbed off. Never again. App now deleted from my phone. I then called Tay Taxis who arrived within 3 minutes.
