Ordered a table that arrived just before Xmas. Emailed them in under 24 hours to say the first time we cleaned it the table had marked. Only using a damp cloth and only wiping food off, but table marked just from wiping it. Asked to return it as clearly not fit for purpose, but was told we weren't allowed. Then realised one of our extending ends doesn't fit so again asked to return it. Have cited the Consumer Rights Act 2015 but they have just refused. To note, that act sates any item that is faulty or not durable must be returned for a full refund if told within 30 days, but they don't seem to care about the Consumer Rights Act 2015, so I'm having to go to my Ombudsman to try to reach a resolution. This all isn't helped by their unwillingness to reply to messages. The only response I have had says they won't take it back because the table was 'handled incorrectly'. I assume this means 'used' (although they haven't yet clarified despite me chasing them for 2 weeks), but that doesn't affect my consumer rights.
