I recently placed an order online with Clarins and signed up to receive emails for which I received a code for a 10% discount. Despite trying several times at checkout the code wouldn’t work. I placed the order and then contacted Clarins via email to explain that the promotional code hadn’t worked. It took them a full week to respond and they advised me that they couldn’t refund the 10% but they could send me a label to return the order and then I would have to purchase the items again. I think it’s farcical that they are prepared to pay for the return postage, put me to a great deal of inconvenience and the code didn’t work previously so there is no guarantee it would work anyway. Really surprised and disappointed by the customer service. I used to use Clarins all the time when I was younger and I decided I was going to go back to using it but after this experience and level of customer service I won’t be ordering again!
