When paying for a service, Clarity check does not state that you'll be signed on to a subscription and that payment is for a trial period, they then go on to violate several data protection and information privacy laws by storing payment details without requesting explicit consent that they will be doing so. They then went ahead after 7 days to deduct £29.99 from my payment method without notice which clearly violates lawfulness, transparency and fairness principles of data protection. They need to be reined in. I have sent them an email requesting a refund and asking that any of my sorted payment details be deleted immediately.
