Being …of an age, I don’t really do social media, but I’m glad to do it for Clarke & Roskrow occasionally. I’m going to refer back to some comments I made 7 years ago because they are still relevant. I have carefully checked what I said then, and it still applies, so I’ll recycle it. As I said then, “Clarke and Roskrow are something totally different from the usual experience when visiting opticians. In a different class entirely from the usual suspects on the High Street.”My most recent experience was that you, as the client, are still made to feel genuinely welcome. The quality of customer care and attention to detail is still there. The eye exam with Mr Clarke was just the same – outstanding, and frankly, just what you get used to here. I got good guidance on specs choice from Bhav, which was BEVEL. I’m told that I’m still a ‘style icon’ for Clarke & Roskrow when I’m out and about.High Street opticians? I assure you that C&R are definitely nothing like them.
