We had booked flights for 1 passenger from Mumbai to Dubai with Air India on 13th July and 2 passengers from Dubai to Paris with Emirates on 15th July. Both these tickets were booked from Cleartrip. Me and my wife were planning to travel but we cancelled our trip due to medical emergency as she was diagnosed with cancer. We had escalated the same to Cleartrip with all evidence like hospital letter, medical reports and tests. Along this I also contacted both airlines Air India and Emirates personally addressing the situation for cancellation waiver. I received the email response from Air India for full refund understanding the situation. With email response from Emirates which I contacted and cancelled before 48 hours which was to receive around 85% of the airfare as per their terms and conditions.There has been disappointing service, untrained staff, misleading information and lack of support from Cleartrip.I have chatted with numerous staff on whatsapp and contacted the call center several times and shared my booking trip ID from the last 30 days but there is no concrete response. As I had mentioned several times the urgency and criticality of the medical situation my wife is in and requesting the refund of the amount paid to cleartrip upon cancellation since 11th July. I have been chasing their team since then to get a reply but I keep getting a reply that we are waiting for the airline to reply and also through the several conversations via phone & Whatsapp facility I have mentioned to expedite the process so I can use the amount for medical expenses.Calling both the airline Air India & Emirates, from their side they are clear that we have got my request and replied to me however we are waiting for your agent Cleartrip to contact us. Informing Cleartrip of the same, they are replying that their agents have sent an email to the airline but there is no reply from them. However this is totally unacceptable and fault of Cleatrip as I have booked through Cleartrip and there is no call, email reply and update from Cleartrip on this matter even explaining the amount to be used on medical grounds. It is sad and quite tortuous to go through this time even after explaining the medical situation multiple times.I have also explained my wife's health situation sharing reports, prescription and even the number of months she will have to go through the treatment.
