My accountant sent a check, and 55 days later, I received a letter from a well-known cargo company stating that the invoice had already been settled; I was advised to contact the leasing company. When I reached out to the leasing team, I found out they had given me incorrect information. I requested a credit for the two additional payments that were taken from my account, and I would pay the difference. They refused and insisted I pay the full lease payoff amount, promising to refund the two extra payments made.
