I rented a car with ClickRent at Aéroport de Séville.
I returned the vehicle on Sunday evening around 9:20 pm, while the agency was closing at 10:00 pm.
After returning the car, I realized that I had left personal items inside (Ray-Ban sunglasses and a pink Tommy Hilfiger cap). I immediately reported this by email upon arriving at my hotel.
The following day, I contacted the agency several times starting at 10:00 am (three calls). Each time, I was asked to call back later. It was only at 2:00 pm that I finally received a response, stating that no items had been found after a check carried out at 7:00 am. I was also told that the items may have been left in an Uber, which I strongly dispute.
Given the circumstances and the very short time between the return of the vehicle and the inspection, this response raises serious doubts about the thoroughness of the checks performed.
This lack of follow-up and handling is disappointing, especially for such a common situation.
I expected a more responsive and professional level of customer service.
