My fiancé and I came to Mono Clinic for his hair transplant, after finding them on social media. We didn’t really know what to expect in regards to Izmir, the Mono Clinic or “DBD” hotel, or just exactly how they would schedule our week there.
From the moment we land at the Izmir airport from Istanbul, we were greeted with nothing but warmth, hospitality, and kindness. Gözde, or “Gigi,” picked us up, we had a great conversation on the way to the hotel and she gave us recommendations for what to do when we had free time in Izmir. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous, the room was stunning, and the breakfast is TO DIE for (my favorite meal of the day). Added bonus was the Jacuzzi in the room. We were in a group chat with 11 staff members, including the nurse, our coordinator, Gigi, drivers, and many others who were there at service. If we had any questions, we asked in the group chat, and we got a response within five minutes.
As for my fiancé’s surgery, he was, understandably so, somewhat nervous. All of his nerves went away when we arrived at the hospital (in a luxurious car, mind you), met the staff and doctors, and got his questions answered. His surgery went seamlessly, as did his post-surgery appointments, and we were given clear, detailed instructions for aftercare for when we return to the states.
I truly, genuinely, have nothing but positive things to say about our experience, Mono Clinic, the DBD hotel, and the staff. We enjoyed our time so much, and hope to stay in contact with some of the staff that we loved. Everyone was phenomenal, but I want to give a special shout out to Gözde/Gigi, Bekir, Emre, Furkan, Umutcan, Almira, Murat, Burcu, and Beste.
Cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you Mono Clinic for everything.
