I provided screenshots showing the discrepancy.Their Instagram team acknowledged that the advertisement was incorrect, thanked me for bringing it to their attention, and referred me to customer support for a price match. However, customer support later focused only on distinguishing between similarly named products and did not address the acknowledged advertising error itself or offer any corrective accommodation.Despite the error being documented and acknowledged internally, the case was closed without resolution or escalation. I was not seeking special treatment—only a reasonable response to an admitted advertising mistake, which in many cases is addressed by honoring the advertised price or offering a goodwill adjustment.The experience ultimately reflected a lack of accountability once the issue moved beyond social media and into customer support.
