I was given a ring from Clogau from a loved one. I tried it on christmas day and it seemed perfect. When it was just 16 days later I wore the ring, and it fell off. I was really worried as I'd never had any clogau jewellery. I phoned customer services who told me to take it to the Bangor store. I travelled to Bangor with my partner, as advised, which was around 20 mins each way. The staff were very superior and stated that the ring was badly damaged ( the man said silver wears quickly, it was 17 days old. Worn once and tried on christmas day, which isn't really an endorsement for buying silver ) The staff said I need to bring in all the packaging ( I brought it I the box with a receipt) I asked the jiffy bags it came in from the internet? I've never heard of anything like that, why would someone buy you a gift and keep the plastic internet packaging, there was no paperwork, my receipt was on a email.We were spoken down to and made to feel like the product was totally worthless at 17 days old. I'd gone to the store to ask for assistance and buy my daughters 21st birthday gift. Needless to say I didn't purchase anything, and nor would I again. I emailed, there was no reply, I called customer services which was closed, despite it being in the hours stated on the website. I do not recommend dealing with this company at all.
